Introducing: New Athens - Rebuilding Philosophy and Society 🏛️
“My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.”
-John 15:8
People need the joy of finding friends who get it and who are willing to fight spiritual battles together, even when things get rough.
Since 2017 I have run a leadership training business helping Christians expand their spiritual influence.
I work with people who want to create online content and become mentor to other people.
If you’d like to set up a phone call to talk about working together, email me here.
What Is New Athens?
I named this website New Athens in reference to the goal of revitalizing philosophy.
In our age we need a philosophical renewal. The city of Athens is a symbol of philosophy. Its namesake was Athena, the goddess of wisdom.
At this site you can find resources for developing into a new kind of philosophical leader.
Let’s start here:
How are you creating spiritual fruit this week? Do you know? Do you have a plan?
If you’re like me, you’ve been thinking about this for awhile.
I made this site for people like that—it is for people who have the heart to be world-changers, but are feeling stuck.
Through a lot of trial and error over the years, I figured out how to get unstuck. And I can help you do it too.
Here’s the basic plan:
Christians (especially men) need to become the kind of people who are worthy of being leaders. They need to spur each other on. They need to find ways to help each other and be helped.
To make that easier, this site offers two paths:
Online mentoring groups
Learning material that equips you for action
Is This Site for Me?
It is for Christians who want to:
Uphold the importance of sound philosophy and Western Civilization.
Build community around true ideas.
Create a life of spiritual influence.
Turn thought into action and change the world.
I hope that describes you.
Welcome to New Athens, where the goal is to rebuild philosophy and society, one leader at a time.
Are You Growing as a Leader?
The Leadership Scorecard will clarify the path forward.
I invite you to read the scorecard and assess your leadership.
